Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted as well as payment from checking or saving. These services are provided free of charge - no convenience fees.
Pay By Phone
To pay your water bill via phone, dial 877-885-7968
The first time you will register on the automated phone payment system. Future calls will only be a three-step payment process. Have your bill handy to provide your customer account number.
Please note: Payments made online or by phone after 5 pm CST will be credited the following business day. If you are going to set automatic payment please adjust payment date far enough in advance to avoid late fees.
U.S. Mail & Drop Box
In addition to mailing your payment there is a Drop Box located in the Township's parking lot at 2501 Mannheim Road. The drop box is under the streetlight at the end of the grass peninsula. DO NOT DEPOSIT CASH in the drop box. Checks should be made payable to Leyden Township. Please include the payment stub from the water bill and or the account number with your payment
Sewer, Water & Waste Collection Past Due Payment
If your account is past due you must contact the Water Department to make payment arrangements to avoid service disruption.
Contact the Water Department by phone 847-455-8616 to see if you qualify for a payment plan and other requirements and fees.
If water service is disrupted due to non-payment, the full amount due and a $100 turn-off/on fee may be required prior to service reactivation. A security deposit may also be required. Partial payment may not stop your water service from being shut off.
Accepted forms of payment are, credit/debit card, bank certified check or money order (max limit $150). Please note: Personal checks will not be accepted. You may also phone in your credit or debit payment to 877-885-7968 or pay online.
