If you are a new resident or have a new address within the community, in order to vote in any future election you must register no less than 30 days prior to the election. In order to register, you must be a United States citizen and at least 18 years old. If you are 17 but will be 18 years old by the general election, you may still register to vote. Two forms of identification are required, at least one of which must have your current address. You can register to vote in the Leyden Town Hall from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm, every week day.
