Biography
Al is a lifelong resident of Elmwood Park. He and his wife have three children and eight grandchildren. His family owned and operated The Elmcrest, Banquets by Biancalana for 90 years. He is a past President and current Board Member of the Triton College Foundation since 1993. Al also serves on the Board of many business and civic organizations. In 1988 Al was appointed to the Leyden Board of Trustees and elected in 1989 as Trustee until his appointment as Township Assessor in 2003, after receiving a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer (CIAO) designation. Al was elected as Township Assessor in 2005 and currently serving his 6th term. Al has been proudly serving Leyden Township for 35 years.
