Nuisance Animals

 

Each individual community is responsible for setting cages.  Upon capturing an animal, the Township Animal Control Officer should be notified for pick-up.  Only animals trapped in appropriate cages will be picked up (i.e. if a skunk is trapped in a raccoon cage, he will refuse to pick it up). 

 

 

Stray Cats and Dogs

 

Each individual community is responsible for apprehending stray animals.  To report a stray, please contact your local village.  Any calls received by the Township will be directed to the appropriate local Police Department.  Residents in the unincorporated area should contact 847-451-2777 directly.
